We started back in on the creation/re-creation of minotaur this past weekend. It was great to have everyone back together again. So many ideas of where we can take this thing. We literally sat around for six hours discussing/arguing/agreeing on what we should do with this show. This portion of the work is essentially just going to be writing with some table work which, for this project, means this part mainly falls on the shoulders of Alison and Stanton. Then we’ll take the work that they’ve done and figure out how to stage it. “Staging the unstageable” is how Alison put I believe. It’s an exciting process but it scares the living hell out of me at the same time.

I remember the night we opened the first version of minotaur, Trish and I were backstage fighting the urge to throw-up cause we had no idea if anything we were about to do would fly and she looked at me and said “Why do we do this again?” I think my answer was “um…”

Staging the unstageable. I love it. We should get shirts made. With an arrow pointing down, of course...
